The Square House is a multi-use domestic space. The house has no front door but four primary openings and series of either secondary/thinner apertures or large glass expanses on each face of the square.
The uses and activities in the house are sleeping (a small bedroom with water closet), a bathing room (with in floor hot tub similar to those found in a Japanese Onsen, a Hinoke (Japanese cedar) bath tub, steam shower and rinse off area), a kitchenette, a sunken living area with large fire place.

SQUARE HOUSE
Working within a in small group of 6, we explored and investigated factual drawings and information about a given building, in order to develop a series of analytical drawings. Using black cartridge paper and white acrylic pen we wanted to create a clean cut visual representation of the square house similar to blue prints.

Through the exploration of the functionality of the floor plan we created a model with just the inner walls foundations. This gave insight on how the user might access the buildings surroundings and how the building is integrated into nature.
